Artist
Big Big Train are a British progressive rock band formed in Bournemouth in 1990. Their music is built around long-form compositions, detailed ensemble arrangements and narrative lyrics; albums including The Underfall Yard, English Electric: Full Power and Folklore, as well as the song “East Coast Racer,” are central to their catalogue. Big Big Train ended a long absence from the stage with three concerts at King’s Place in London in 2015. They followed those performances with shows at Cadogan Hall in 2017, recordings from which were released as the live album Merchants of Light. In 2018, the band took its full ensemble to Germany for Night of the Prog at the Loreley Amphitheatre.
