Big Cyc in London

Big Cyc is a Polish rock band formed in 1988, known for punk-driven songs, political satire and absurdist humour. Its best-known recordings include “Berlin Zachodni,” “Makumba,” “Rudy się żeni” and “Świat według Kiepskich,” while the debut album Z partyjnym pozdrowieniem established the group’s irreverent approach. Big Cyc gave its first concert at the Balbina student club in Łódź, presenting the performance as a satirical happening. The band subsequently took its songs to clubs and open-air events around Poland, including appearances at the Jarocin Festival and Przystanek Woodstock.

The Analogs are a Polish street-punk band formed in Szczecin in 1995 by musicians from the ska group Dr. Cycos. Their debut album, Oi! Młodzież, appeared in 1996, followed by Street Punk Rulez! in 1997. Founder Paweł “Piguła” Czekała is the group’s principal songwriter; he initially played bass before switching to guitar. The band played its first Prague concert in 2001, then performed in Italy and at the Czech Republic’s Antifest in 2002. The Analogs appeared at Germany’s Punk & Disorderly festival in 2003, 2004 and 2006, and also performed at Przystanek Woodstock. In 2019, they played a London concert alongside ska singer Roy Ellis.
