Big Daddy Wilson in Oldenburg

Big Daddy Wilson is an American singer-songwriter from Edenton, North Carolina, who built his career in Germany performing blues shaped by soul and gospel. Born Ed Wilson, he began singing blues after serving in the U.S. Army and settling in Europe. His catalogue includes the albums Love Is the Key, Thumb a Ride, Deep in My Soul and Hard Time Blues. Songs from the Road documents Big Daddy Wilson fronting the Goosebumps Bros. in concert. The live release captures his voice at the center of a guitar-led band performance recorded at Blues Garage in Isernhagen.
