About Bjørn Tomren
Bjørn Tomren is a Norwegian singer and musician from Tomrefjord whose music draws on blues, folk and pop. He is known for yodeling and throat singing, for his work in the duo Polkabjørn & Kleine Heine, and for winning Stjernekamp in 2021. His solo albums include Bad Science Fiction and The Universe Is Nonsense.
Polkabjørn & Kleine Heine took Bjørn Tomren and accordionist Heine Bugge beyond Norway, including support dates on a-ha’s Ending on a High Note farewell tour and a performance at Roskilde Festival. In 2021, he performed across the weekly genre challenges of Stjernekamp and won the final against singer Alexandra Rotan.
