Eva Weel Skram is a Norwegian singer-songwriter, born in Sogndal in 1985, who performs folk-leaning pop in both Norwegian and English. She first reached a national audience on Idol in 2005, then formed Eva & the Heartmaker with Thomas Stenersen. Her solo catalogue includes the album Finne heim and “Selmas sang,” written for the NRK Christmas series Snøfall. Eva Weel Skram performed for years with Eva & the Heartmaker before touring under her own name, moving her Norwegian-language songs into theatres and concert halls. Her live work has included a recurring Christmas production built around seasonal repertoire and solo material, presented under the title Falle til ro.
Bjørn Tomren is a Norwegian singer and musician from Tomrefjord whose music draws on blues, folk and pop. He is known for yodeling and throat singing, for his work in the duo Polkabjørn & Kleine Heine, and for winning Stjernekamp in 2021. His solo albums include Bad Science Fiction and The Universe Is Nonsense. Polkabjørn & Kleine Heine took Bjørn Tomren and accordionist Heine Bugge beyond Norway, including support dates on a-ha’s Ending on a High Note farewell tour and a performance at Roskilde Festival. In 2021, he performed across the weekly genre challenges of Stjernekamp and won the final against singer Alexandra Rotan.
