Artists
Black Label Society is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1998 by guitarist and singer Zakk Wylde, also known for his work with Ozzy Osbourne. Heavy riffs, Southern-rock accents and Wylde’s guitar solos shape albums including Sonic Brew, 1919 Eternal and The Blessed Hellride; key songs include “Stillborn,” “Suicide Messiah” and “In This River.” Black Label Society appeared on several Ozzfest tours during the 2000s, then led the Black Label Berzerkus tour in 2010 alongside Clutch, Children of Bodom and 2Cents. In 2013, the band recorded the acoustic Unblackened concert at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, recasting material from across its catalogue. The 2021 Doom Trooping Over North America tour paired the group with Obituary and Prong.
Zakk Sabbath is an American Black Sabbath tribute band led by guitarist and singer Zakk Wylde, joined by bassist Blasko and drummer Joey Castillo. The group plays heavy metal and hard rock drawn from Black Sabbath’s early catalogue, including “War Pigs,” “N.I.B.” and “Fairies Wear Boots.” Its recordings include Vertigo, a complete recreation of the first Black Sabbath album, and the double album Doomed Forever Forever Doomed, covering Paranoid and Master of Reality in full. Zakk Sabbath made its live debut at The Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood in 2016. The band followed that appearance with its first headlining tour in 2017, taking the Sabbath repertoire through North American clubs and theatres with support from Beastmaker.
