About Blaumut
Blaumut are a Catalan folk-pop band formed in Barcelona in 2009. Their songs combine guitar-led writing with violin and cello arrangements; the debut album El turista introduced widely known tracks including “Pa amb oli i sal” and “Bicicletes,” followed by records such as El primer arbre del bosc and Equilibri.
Following the release of El turista, Blaumut toured its songs before taking subsequent albums into theatres and festivals across Catalonia. The group performs as a full band, placing lead voice and guitar beside violin, cello, bass and drums, a lineup it has brought to the Palau de la Música Catalana.
