Blue Moon Marquee in Hamilton

Blue Moon Marquee is a Canadian roots duo formed in 2012 by A.W. Cardinal and Jasmine Colette. They play blues, swing jazz and old-time roots music, led by Cardinal’s guitar and vocals and Colette’s upright bass, percussion and vocals. Their albums include Bare Knuckles & Brawn and Scream, Holler & Howl, which won the Juno Award for Blues Album of the Year. Blue Moon Marquee have toured across Canada, Europe and Australia, performing in clubs, theatres and at outdoor festivals. Their compact touring lineup lets Colette handle bass and percussion while Cardinal supplies guitar, giving the duo a complete rhythm section onstage. Festival appearances have included the Montreal International Jazz Festival and Woodford Folk Festival. Their Canadian festival history also includes the Vancouver Folk Music Festival and Edmonton Folk Music Festival.
