Blue October in Grand Rapids

Blue October is an American alternative rock band formed in Houston in 1995 and led by singer-songwriter Justin Furstenfeld. The group is best known for the album Foiled and its songs “Hate Me” and “Into the Ocean,” as well as the earlier single “Calling You.” In 2004, the band recorded the concert album Argue with a Tree... at Dallas’s Lakewood Theater. Blue October performed at Lollapalooza in 2006 during the touring cycle for Foiled, while the 2015 concert film Things We Do at Night – Live from Texas documented another Texas performance at the House of Blues.
