Blue Rose Code in Cambridge

Blue Rose Code is a Scottish folk project led by Edinburgh-born songwriter Ross Wilson. Its music sets intimate storytelling within country, soul and jazz arrangements; the catalogue began with the 2013 album North Ten and includes The Ballads of Peckham Rye, The Water of Leith and With Healings of the Deepest Kind. Blue Rose Code has toured Britain with Ross Wilson appearing solo on some dates and leading an adaptable ensemble on others. The project’s festival history includes Celtic Connections in Glasgow and Cambridge Folk Festival.
