Bonobo is the stage name of British electronic musician, producer and DJ Simon Green, who was born in Leeds in 1976. He makes downtempo electronic music shaped by jazz, soul and trip-hop, and is known for albums including Animal Magic and Black Sands, as well as tracks such as “Kiara,” “Cirrus” and “Kerala.” In 2017, he toured Migration with a live band, performing at Coachella and Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The Fragments Live tour followed in 2022 and included five consecutive nights at Royal Albert Hall; organist Anna Lapwood joined the ensemble for “Otomo” at the final concert.
Sofia Kourtesis is a Peruvian producer and DJ born in Lima and based in Berlin. She makes melodic house and electronica, and is known for the EP Fresia Magdalena, her debut album Madres, and tracks including “Estación Esperanza,” recorded with Manu Chao, and “Si Te Portas Bonito.” In 2024, she performed at Coachella before taking material from Madres to Glastonbury Festival.
