Bonobo in Los Angeles

Bonobo is the stage name of British electronic musician, producer and DJ Simon Green, who was born in Leeds in 1976. He makes downtempo electronic music shaped by jazz, soul and trip-hop, and is known for albums including Animal Magic and Black Sands, as well as tracks such as “Kiara,” “Cirrus” and “Kerala.” In 2017, he toured Migration with a live band, performing at Coachella and Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The Fragments Live tour followed in 2022 and included five consecutive nights at Royal Albert Hall; organist Anna Lapwood joined the ensemble for “Otomo” at the final concert.
