Brigitte Calls Me Baby is an American indie rock band formed in Chicago and fronted by singer Wes Leavins. The group’s guitar-driven new wave and post-punk songs are shaped by Leavins’ crooning vocal style. The EP This House Is Made of Corners introduced “Impressively Average” and “Eddie My Love,” while the debut album The Future Is Our Way Out included “Too Easy.” In 2024, the band played a hometown headline show at Metro Chicago and carried The Future Is Our Way Out into a North American run of clubs and theatres. Festival appearances have included Lollapalooza in Chicago and Austin City Limits Music Festival in Austin.
