Artist
Bródy János is a Hungarian singer-songwriter, guitarist and lyricist, born in Budapest in 1946. He became known through the rock groups Illés and Fonográf, then built a solo catalogue led by the album Hungarian Blues and songs including “Mindannyian mások vagyunk.” He also wrote “Ha én rózsa volnék” for singer Koncz Zsuzsa. Bródy János performed with Illés at Népstadion in 1990 as part of the Illés-Metro-Omega concert. In 2016, he marked his 70th birthday with the Bródy 70 concert at Papp László Budapest Sportaréna.
