Bruce Liu in Chicago

Bruce Liu is a Canadian classical pianist, born in Paris in 1997 and raised in Montreal. He won the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw in 2021. His recordings for Deutsche Grammophon include a live Chopin album drawn from the competition and Waves, a programme of music by Rameau, Ravel and Alkan. After his 2021 victory, he made his recital debut at Carnegie Hall. Later engagements paired solo recitals with concerto appearances, including performances with the Philharmonia Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. His recital schedule has also taken him to the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
