Buffalo Tom in Belfast

Buffalo Tom are an American alternative-rock trio formed in Boston in 1986 by Bill Janovitz, Chris Colbourn and Tom Maginnis. Their guitar-led sound became closely associated with albums such as Let Me Come Over, Big Red Letter Day and Sleepy Eyed, and songs including “Taillights Fade,” “Sodajerk” and “Summer.” In 1992, Buffalo Tom played London’s University of London Union; that performance was later issued with the 25th-anniversary edition of Let Me Come Over. The band revisited that record in anniversary concerts and has repeatedly returned to its hometown for club shows at Paradise Rock Club in Boston.
