Doves are an English alternative rock band formed in Manchester in 1998 by Jimi Goodwin and twin brothers Jez and Andy Williams, all formerly of Sub Sub. Their atmospheric, rhythm-driven sound is captured on albums including Lost Souls, The Last Broadcast and Some Cities, and in songs such as “There Goes the Fear,” “Pounding” and “Black and White Town.” Doves opened for Oasis at Wembley Stadium in 2000 while touring behind Lost Souls. After a long break from performing, the trio returned to the stage in 2019 for a Teenage Cancer Trust concert at the Royal Albert Hall, followed by an appearance that summer at Glastonbury Festival.
