cali≠gari in Shibuya City

cali≠gari is a Japanese rock band formed in 1993, known for experimental alternative rock rooted in visual kei and eroguro. Albums such as Dai 7 Jikkenshitsu and Dai 8 Jikkenshitsu, along with songs including “Blue Film” and “Maguro,” established the band’s theatrical, abrasive approach. The band’s 2003 concert at Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall preceded an indefinite hiatus. After reuniting in 2009, cali≠gari played Nippon Budokan in 2010 and continued performing beyond the reunion period.
