Capital Inicial is a Brazilian rock band formed in Brasília in 1982, with roots in the group Aborto Elétrico. Led by vocalist Dinho Ouro Preto, it is known for songs including “Música Urbana,” “Fátima,” “Primeiros Erros (Chove),” “Natasha” and “À Sua Maneira,” as well as the live album Acústico MTV. In 2000, Capital Inicial recorded Acústico MTV at Teatro Mars in São Paulo and took that acoustic repertoire on tour. The band played Rock in Rio III the following year, then recorded Multishow ao Vivo: Capital Inicial in 2008 at the Esplanada dos Ministérios in Brasília. Capital Inicial plays headline concerts in Porto Alegre and Salvador during its Brazilian tours. The band also performs in Belo Horizonte.
