Carlos Sadness in Mexico City

Carlos Sadness is a Spanish singer-songwriter and illustrator, born in Barcelona in 1987. After recording hip-hop under the name Shinoflow, he turned to melodic indie pop with folk and tropical touches. His catalogue includes the albums Ciencias celestes, Diferentes tipos de luz and Tropical Jesus, as well as songs such as “Qué electricidad,” “Isla Morenita” and “Amor papaya,” recorded with Caloncho. Carlos Sadness toured Spain and Latin America in support of La idea salvaje. His festival appearances have included Vive Latino in Mexico City and Lollapalooza Chile in Santiago.
