Cassia are an English indie-rock trio formed in Macclesfield by vocalist and guitarist Rob Thomas, bassist Lou Cotterill and drummer Jacob Jeff. Their music combines British indie pop with elements of African and world music, informed partly by the music Thomas heard while growing up in Zambia. Early singles included “Moana,” “Paradise Beach” and “100 Times Over,” followed by the 2018 EP Movers and Shakers and the 2019 debut album Replica. Cassia built an audience through regular gigging and energetic live performances. The live lineup is the founding trio: Rob Thomas on vocals and guitar, Lou Cotterill on bass and Jacob Jeff on drums.
Rum Jungle are an Australian indie-rock band formed in Newcastle in 2017. Their guitar-led sound draws on surf rock and garage rock, and their catalogue includes “Move to Cali,” “Everything Is Easy,” the EP Hold Me in the Water and the debut album Recency Bias. In 2024, Rum Jungle took their four-piece live show through the United Kingdom and continental Europe after building experience in Australian clubs. The following year they mounted a North American headline tour behind Recency Bias, playing rooms across the United States and Canada.
