About Cheech & Chong
Cheech & Chong are a comedy duo formed by American comedian Cheech Marin and Canadian comedian Tommy Chong in the early 1970s. Their counterculture routines about marijuana, music and everyday life became the basis of comedy albums including Cheech and Chong and Big Bambu, followed by films such as Up in Smoke and Cheech and Chong’s Next Movie.
The 2008 Light Up America tour reunited the pair onstage after a long period of separate work. They followed it with the Get It Legal tour and later returned to theatres and amphitheatres for the Up in Smoke tour, which paired their comedy set with a performance by War.
