Artist
Chetes is the stage name of Mexican singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Luis Gerardo Garza Cisneros, a Monterrey native who plays alternative and pop rock in Spanish. Before beginning his solo career, he was a member of Zurdok and later Vaquero. His solo catalogue includes the albums Blanco Fácil and Efecto Dominó, as well as songs such as “Completamente,” “Poco a poco” and “Que me maten.” In 2008, Chetes recorded a concert for MTV Unplugged, presenting acoustic arrangements of material from his solo records. He later brought that catalogue to major Mexican festival stages, including Vive Latino in Mexico City and Tecate Pa’l Norte in Monterrey.
