About Chris Trapper
Chris Trapper is an American singer-songwriter and the frontman of the Boston rock band The Push Stars. His music draws on folk-pop and melodic rock, and he is known for “This Time,” written for the film August Rush, as well as Push Stars songs including “Everything Shines” and “Minnesota.” His solo albums include Songs from the Middle of the World and The Few & the Far Between.
Chris Trapper has performed both with The Push Stars and as a solo acoustic artist. He documented his solo format on Live at the Rockwood Music Hall, recorded at the New York club, while his Holiday Extravaganza concerts have been presented in the seated listening-room setting of City Winery Boston.
