Christian Löffler in Lisbon

Christian Löffler is a German electronic musician, producer and visual artist born in Greifswald in 1985. He makes melodic techno and ambient-leaning house, combining electronic rhythms with piano, strings and processed vocals. His catalog includes the albums A Forest, Mare and Lys, while Parallels: Shellac Reworks reinterpreted classical recordings from the Deutsche Grammophon archive. His filmed Cercle performance at Fontaine-de-Vaucluse presented his music as a continuous outdoor electronic set. He later performed at the Philharmonie de Paris in a concert recorded by ARTE, bringing his compositions into a seated concert-hall setting.
