East Forest in Lisbon

East Forest is the recording project of American musician and producer Trevor Oswalt. He makes ambient electronic music shaped by piano, field recordings and spoken word, and is known for the album Ram Dass, built around the spiritual teacher’s voice, and the film and soundtrack project Music for Mushrooms. Lightning in a Bottle and Wanderlust have hosted East Forest’s festival performances, where keyboards, electronics and recorded voices form the core of his set. He has also presented this material in contemplative spaces, including Grace Cathedral in San Francisco.
