Artist
Christiane Rösinger is a German singer-songwriter, author and journalist, born in 1961. She co-founded the indie-pop band Lassie Singers and later led Britta before releasing solo records including Songs of L. and Lieder ohne Leiden. Her German-language songs are known for dry humor and close observations of relationships, work and everyday life. Christiane Rösinger has presented her solo repertoire in clubs and theatres, drawing on both of those albums as well as songs from her earlier bands. At HAU Hebbel am Ufer, she also developed music-theatre works that carried her songwriting into ensemble performance, including Stadt unter Einfluss and the feminist musical Planet Egalia.
