Chuck Mead Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

Chuck Mead is an American country singer, songwriter and guitarist, born in Missouri in 1960 and raised in Kansas. He co-founded BR5-49, whose honky-tonk and rockabilly sound became known through songs including “Cherokee Boogie” and “Little Ramona (Gone Hillbilly Nuts).” His solo catalogue includes the albums Journeyman’s Wager, Back at the Quonset Hut and Free State Serenade.

In the 1990s, BR5-49 developed its live following through extended sets at Robert’s Western World in Nashville before touring beyond the city. Mead later toured his solo records with the Grassy Knoll Boys, performing his own material alongside songs associated with BR5-49. His theatre work also included serving as musical director for the Broadway production of Million Dollar Quartet.
