Citizen in Brisbane

Citizen is an American rock band formed in Toledo, Ohio, in 2009. Their music draws on emo, post-hardcore and melodic punk, and they became known for the album Youth and songs including “The Night I Drove Alone,” “How Does It Feel?” and “Sleep.” Later records include Everybody Is Going to Heaven, As You Please and Life in Your Glass World. Citizen appeared on Vans Warped Tour during the 2010s as their audience expanded beyond the punk and hardcore club circuit. In 2023, they performed Youth in full to mark its tenth anniversary on the 10 Years of Youth tour.

Drug Church is an American hardcore punk band formed in Albany, New York, in 2011 and fronted by vocalist Patrick Kindlon. Their records pair abrasive guitars with alternative-rock hooks and include Paul Walker, Cheer, Hygiene and Prude; “Weed Pin” and “Million Miles of Fun” are among their best-known songs. On the 2022 North American headlining tour for Hygiene, Drug Church took One Step Closer, Soul Blind and LURK on the road. In 2024, they toured North America with Modern Color, Soul Blind and PONY around the release of Prude. Festival appearances have included Sound and Fury in Los Angeles and Outbreak Fest in Manchester.
