CKY in Grand Rapids

CKY is an American rock band formed in West Chester, Pennsylvania, in 1998. Its heavy alternative rock is built around thick guitar riffs, heard on albums including Volume 1 and Infiltrate•Destroy•Rebuild. The band is best known for songs such as “96 Quite Bitter Beings” and “Flesh into Gear.” CKY played the Warped Tour in 1999, an early national outing following the release of Volume 1. The band followed with Ozzfest in 2001, then opened for Guns N’ Roses during the 2002 North American leg of the Chinese Democracy Tour.
