coldrain in Hiroshima

coldrain is a Japanese band formed in Nagoya in 2007. The five-piece plays post-hardcore and metalcore, pairing Masato Hayakawa’s clean vocals and screams with heavy guitar arrangements. Its best-known releases include the albums The Revelation and Vena, while “Mayday” and “Feed the Fire” reached anime audiences through Fire Force and King’s Game. The band undertook its first European tour in 2014, beginning a run of performances outside Japan. The FATELESS JAPAN TOUR concluded at Nippon Budokan in 2018, and coldrain marked its 15th anniversary with a concert at Yokohama Arena in 2022. European festival appearances have included Download Festival and Rock am Ring. The band has also headlined its own multi-artist event, BLARE FEST.
