Survive Said The Prophet in Hiroshima

Survive Said The Prophet are a Japanese rock band formed in Tokyo in 2011. Their music draws on post-hardcore, alternative rock and melodic punk, and they are widely known for “found & lost,” the opening theme for Banana Fish, and “MUKANJYO” and “Paradox,” both used for Vinland Saga. Their albums include Wabi Sabi, space[s] and Inside Your Head. In 2018, the band performed at Vans Warped Tour Japan as part of a live history built through extensive touring at home. Survive Said The Prophet later took their full-band headline shows to Europe and North America, while their Japanese festival appearances have included Summer Sonic.

The Prophet is the stage name of Dutch DJ and producer Dov Elkabas. He first became known for gabber and hardcore, later made hardstyle central to his work, founded the label Scantraxx, and released tracks including “One Moment,” “Wanna Play?” and “Caramba!” In the 1990s, he performed at Thunderdome events as a member of The Dreamteam. He later played Qlimax and ended his performing career with a final set at Defqon.1 in 2023.
