Cultura Profética is a Puerto Rican roots-reggae band formed in San Juan in 1996. Its Spanish-language catalogue pairs reggae rhythms with socially conscious and romantic writing; the band is known for songs including “La Complicidad” and “Ilegal,” and for albums such as La Dulzura and Sobrevolando. The band documented its 15th-anniversary concert at Luna Park in Buenos Aires in the live release 15 Aniversario en el Luna Park. It later marked 20 years with a homecoming concert at Estadio Hiram Bithorn in San Juan.
