Damien Dempsey is an Irish singer-songwriter, born in Dublin in 1975, whose music draws on folk, traditional song and rock. He became known through albums including Seize the Day and Shots, and songs such as “Negative Vibes,” “It’s All Good” and “Sing All Our Cares Away.” In 2006, Damien Dempsey documented his stage work on Live at the Olympia. He later established an annual run of December concerts at Vicar Street and has also headlined open-air shows at Iveagh Gardens.
