About Dan Sultan
Dan Sultan is an Australian singer-songwriter, guitarist and actor, born in Melbourne in 1983. A Gurindji and Arrernte man, he plays rock and soul shaped by blues and country, and is known for songs including “Old Fitzroy” and “Under Your Skin” and the album Blackbird. He also played Willie in the screen musical Bran Nue Dae.
In 2014, he opened selected Australian dates on Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s High Hopes Tour, then took Blackbird on a national headline tour. He later returned to Australian theatres for the Killer Tour.
