Danger Dan is a German rapper, singer-songwriter and pianist born Daniel Pongratz in Aachen in 1983. He performs solo and as a member of Antilopen Gang. His solo records include Reflexionen aus dem beschönigten Leben and the piano-led Das ist alles von der Kunstfreiheit gedeckt, whose title song couples antifascist political writing with the form of a chanson. In 2022, Danger Dan toured Das ist alles von der Kunstfreiheit gedeckt, presenting its songs from the piano in theatres and at open-air venues. A concert from that run was documented on Das ist alles von der Kunstfreiheit gedeckt (Live in Berlin).
