David Fonseca in Coimbra

David Fonseca is a Portuguese singer-songwriter, musician and producer from Leiria who plays pop and alternative rock. He first became known as the lead singer of Silence 4, whose albums include Silence Becomes It and Only Pain Is Real, before beginning a solo career with songs such as “Someone That Cannot Love,” “Superstars” and “Kiss Me, Oh Kiss Me.” In 2014, he returned to the stage with Silence 4 for the SongBook reunion tour, which included concerts at MEO Arena in Lisbon and Multiusos de Guimarães. His later solo work included Bowie 70, a concert built around songs by David Bowie, and the Living Room Bohemian Apocalypse tour.
