David Francey Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

David Francey is a Scottish-born Canadian folk singer-songwriter whose plainspoken songs draw on years spent working in rail yards and construction. He moved to Canada as a child and began recording later in life; his catalogue includes the albums Torn Screen Door, Far End of Summer and The Waking Hour, as well as the songs “Skating Rink” and “Saints and Sinners.”

After releasing Torn Screen Door in 1999, David Francey toured Canada, the United States, Britain and Australia. His concerts center on singing, acoustic accompaniment and spoken introductions that give the stories behind individual songs. He has performed at the Winnipeg Folk Festival and the Mariposa Folk Festival, while headline concerts in Toronto have brought him to the listening-room setting of Hugh’s Room.
