Davide Van De Sfroos in Locarno

Davide Van De Sfroos is an Italian singer-songwriter born Davide Bernasconi in Monza in 1965, known for folk-rock songs rooted in the communities and stories around Lake Como. He writes much of his work in laghée, a local form of Western Lombard, and first recorded with the band De Sfroos before continuing under his stage name. His best-known works include “Yanez,” “La curiera” and the album Pica! In 2011, he performed “Yanez” at the Sanremo Music Festival. That appearance was followed in June by a headline concert at San Siro in Milan.
