About De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig
De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig is a Dutch hip-hop group formed in Amsterdam in 2005 by rappers Willie Wartaal, Vieze Fur and Faberyayo with producer Bas Bron. Their debut single “Watskeburt?!” established their playful, slang-heavy Dutch rap, while “Sterrenstof” and the albums Parels voor de Zwijnen and De Machine became further staples of their catalogue.
In 2015, the group marked its tenth anniversary with a headline concert at the Ziggo Dome. Their festival history also includes repeat appearances at Lowlands and performances at Pinkpop.
