Artist
Deafkids are a Brazilian experimental punk trio formed in Volta Redonda. They play noise-heavy psychedelic hardcore driven by percussion, electronics, dub effects and repeated rhythms. Their principal records include Configuração do Lamento, Ritos do Colapso and Metaprogramação. In 2019, Deafkids performed at Roadburn Festival in Tilburg, then opened for Neurosis on European dates. That summer, the trio also performed in Denmark at Roskilde Festival.
