Deap Vally in San Diego

Deap Vally were an American blues-rock duo formed in Los Angeles in 2011 by singer-guitarist Lindsey Troy and drummer-vocalist Julie Edwards. Their raw guitar-and-drums sound drove the debut album Sistrionix and songs including “Gonna Make My Own Money,” “End of the World” and “Baby I Call Hell”; later records included Femejism and Marriage. In 2013, Deap Vally performed at Glastonbury and Reading and Leeds while touring behind their debut. They later opened for Garbage on the Strange Little Birds tour, then marked their farewell in 2024 by playing Sistrionix in full on the Live for the Last Time Tour.
