Death From Above 1979 & Rickshaw Billie's Burger Patrol in San Francisco

Death From Above 1979 are a Canadian dance-punk and noise-rock duo formed in Toronto in 2001. Their 2004 debut album, You’re a Woman, I’m a Machine, established their bass-and-drums sound through songs including “Romantic Rights,” “Blood on Our Hands” and “Black History Month.” After a farewell performance at Toronto’s Kool Haus in 2006, the duo returned to the stage in 2011, playing a surprise show at Austin’s Beauty Bar before appearing at Coachella. The concert lineup is the core duo: Jesse F. Keeler plays distorted bass and synthesizer, while Sebastien Grainger sings and plays drums.

Rickshaw Billie's Burger Patrol is an American heavy-rock trio formed in Austin, Texas, in 2016. The band plays low-tuned stoner rock and sludge metal built around an eight-string guitar, and is known for the albums Doom Wop and Big Dumb Riffs. Rickshaw Billie's Burger Patrol took Doom Wop and later Big Dumb Riffs through North American clubs, including a run of U.S. dates with King Buffalo. The trio also performed at Austin events including Levitation and SXSW.
