About Declan McKenna
Declan McKenna is an English singer-songwriter, born in 1998 and raised in Cheshunt, who plays indie rock and indie pop. He became known through “Brazil,” a song addressing corruption in football, and followed it with albums including What Do You Think About the Car?, Zeros and What Happened to the Beach? His other widely recognized songs include “The Key to Life on Earth” and “British Bombs.”
The Zeros Tour took Declan McKenna through the UK, Europe and North America after pandemic postponements. He returned to North American venues on The Big Return Tour in 2023, followed by the What Happened to the Beach? Tour in 2024.
His festival history began with the 2015 Emerging Talent Competition, which earned him a performance at Glastonbury; later appearances included Reading and Leeds Festivals.
