About Deichkind
Deichkind is a German group formed in Hamburg in 1997. They began as a hip-hop act and later centered their sound on electronic beats, shouted rap and electropunk. “Bon Voyage,” “Remmidemmi (Yippie Yippie Yeah),” “Arbeit nervt” and “Leider geil” are among their best-known tracks.
The Befehl von ganz unten Tour took Deichkind through large concert halls in 2012, followed by the Niveau Weshalb Warum Tour in 2015. Alongside those indoor runs, the group performed at Hurricane and Southside.
The concert is a choreographed group performance. Matching geometric costumes, mobile platforms and oversized props are recurring elements of Deichkind’s shows.
Indoor dates have included arena concerts at Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin and Lanxess Arena in Cologne.
