Dekker in Nottingham

Dekker is the solo project of American singer-songwriter Brookln Dekker, who is based in England. He previously formed the indie-folk duo Rue Royale with Ruth Dekker, then carried his understated folk-pop songwriting into albums including Slow Reveal: Chapter One and I Won’t Be Your Foe, with songs such as “Maybe October” and “This Here Island.” Before releasing music as Dekker, he toured extensively across Europe with Rue Royale. His solo concerts have since taken the songs from his records through Britain and continental Europe, primarily in intimate clubs and theatres, including performances in Nottingham.
