Deorro in Chula Vista

Deorro is a Mexican-American DJ and producer from Los Angeles who makes electro house and bounce-driven dance music shaped by Latin rhythms. He is known for “Five Hours,” its Chris Brown collaboration “Five More Hours,” and “Bailar” featuring Elvis Crespo; his debut album, Good Evening, followed those singles. Deorro performed in the Sahara tent at Coachella in 2015, bringing his DJ set to one of the festival’s principal electronic stages. His festival history also includes Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas and Tomorrowland.

Alacranes Musical is a Mexican-American duranguense band formed in Chicago in 1996. The group became known for brisk regional Mexican arrangements led by keyboards, saxophone and tambora, and for songs including “Por Tu Amor,” “Dame Tu Amor” and “A Cambio de Qué.” During duranguense’s 2000s peak, Alacranes Musical played dance venues, fairs and festivals across the United States. The full band has also taken that repertoire to audiences throughout Mexico.
