About Diesel Park West
Diesel Park West are an English rock band formed in Leicester in 1980. Their guitar-led alternative rock draws on jangle pop, power pop and Americana; they are best known for the album Shakespeare Alabama and songs including “When the Hoodoo Comes,” “Like Princes Do” and “All the Myths on Sunday.”
Diesel Park West took Shakespeare Alabama on the road after its 1989 release, and in 1990 they supported the Rolling Stones at Wembley Stadium during the Urban Jungle Tour.
