Dillinger Four is an American punk rock band formed in Minneapolis in 1994. The group is known for fast, melodic songs with politically pointed and darkly comic lyrics, including “Doublewhiskeycokenoice,” and for albums such as Midwestern Songs of the Americas, Versus God, Situationist Comedy and C I V I L W A R. The band’s long-running D4th of July concerts became an annual hometown tradition at Triple Rock Social Club, where Dillinger Four played the final night before the venue closed in 2017. Repeat appearances at The Fest established another lasting live connection with Gainesville.
