About Dinosaur Jr.
Dinosaur Jr. are an American rock band formed in Amherst, Massachusetts, in 1984 by J Mascis, Lou Barlow and Murph. Their guitar-heavy alternative rock is closely associated with the albums You're Living All Over Me, Bug and Where You Been, while “Freak Scene” and “Feel the Pain” are among their best-known songs.
The original lineup reunited in 2005 and resumed touring in clubs, theatres and at festivals. In 2011, the band toured with performances of Bug in full. Four years later, Dinosaur Jr. marked their 30th anniversary through a seven-show residency at New York’s Bowery Ballroom.
