About The Lemonheads
The Lemonheads are an American alternative-rock band formed in Boston in 1986. Led by singer and guitarist Evan Dando, they are known for melodic guitar songs including “It’s a Shame About Ray,” “Into Your Arms” and their cover of “Mrs. Robinson,” as well as the albums It’s a Shame About Ray and Come on Feel the Lemonheads.
The Lemonheads toured on Lollapalooza in 1993, appearing on the travelling festival’s main stage during the band’s early-1990s commercial peak. Later tours included anniversary performances of It’s a Shame About Ray in full, placing that album at the centre of club and theatre concerts led by Evan Dando.
